For all the talk of digital and targeting, there's no better way to make a splash cheaply than by taking out a billboard. Sports fans know this. Disgruntled supporters of the Oakland Raiders have taken a four-week lease on a billboard across the street from the team's stadium to voice their displeasure over how the franchise is run. The billboard urges owner Al Davis to hire a general manager. MessageToAl.com paid $5,500 for the billboard with money it raised on the site.
