This Designer Makes Herself Up to Look Like Models From Defaced Subway Ads

Lydia Cambron's 'Makeup Transit Authority' project

God knows what inspired her to do this, but designer Lydia Cambron has been recreating vandalized subway ads on her own face with makeup and props.

And the results are pretty great.

Not only are her recreations funny, they come at the subject of vandalism from an interesting perspective. What looks immature and ugly on a random poster becomes quirky and fun on a real human face. It's a cool effect.

She must live in an area with exceptionally modest vandals, though.
