Is Derek Jeter listening to Harvey Keitel?
Here’s the new Gatorade commercial with Harvey Keitel urging Derek Jeter to steal second base. It’s nice and all, but the casting could be better. After stealing 34 bases last year (an average of one every four and a half games), Jeter’s got just two so far this year in 25 games. Those of us who have Derek on our fantasy teams notice these kinds of things. Not that I’m complaining—he does have a 20-game hitting streak. But maybe it’s time for Gatorade to sign a second shortstop.
