Dentsu London uses iPad for 3-D animation

Just as the iPad was starting to seem less sexy and more hum-drum practical, Dentsu London has used the device to create a hypnotic new form of stop-motion animation. Partnering with design consultancy BERG, the Dentsu team created a video called "Making Future Magic," which is the agency's current communications strategy. I'd hate to butcher the explanation of the 3-D animation, so just watch the video below to see both how it's done and what the finished product looked like. If you're really into the music, check out BERG's exhaustive blog post about the soundtrack, which includes a chance to hear the "Chris Isaak meets Twin Peaks" track that didn't make the cut.
