Death prowls streets in homelessness effort
A while back, Publicis Conseil and Samu Social showed the homeless literally melting into sidewalks. In this new campaign, tagged "Indifference kills," street people sink even deeper—several feet under—as the pavement becomes the grave. See three full ads here. Kudos for the sharp art direction and unexpected touches that keep things from getting maudlin, like the fact that one guy is buried on his sidewalk bench. Who says you can't take it with you!? In the upper-right corner of the ad with the dog, note the small image of folks obliviously chowing down in a warm, well-lit bistro. Hey, yuppies, that guy out there's dead. The least you can do is get a doggie bag for Fido! Via Ads of the World.
