Flight of the Conchords regular Eugene Mirman put his sense of humor, and a couple of thousand dollars, into some newspaper ads lashing out at Time Warner Cable's incompetence and poor customer service. He placed the ads—in the form of a letter to the company—after a routine installation appointment date was moved around and then forgotten about entirely. Mirman's ads compared the cable provider to "a controlling, abusive husband on an episode of Law and Order," and compiled a list of Biblical plagues that he wished upon the company.
