Celebrities advertising for Hillary Clinton

Hillary Apparently, it takes a village of famous actors to help re-elect a senator from New York. None other than Hillary Rodham Clinton has gotten none other than Robert De Niro, Tony Bennett and Paul Newman to record automated phone messages to send out to registered voters throughout the state to go to the polls and pull the lever for her next Tuesday. De Niro’s message even riffs off his American Express “My life. My card” spots. For Hillary, he says, “New York is my state, and Hillary Clinton is my senator.” And if you’re bothered by this form of “telemarketing,” too bad. It’s a protected form of political speech and can’t be blocked.
