A breakthrough in onion-costume design

Eclipseonion Someone, somewhere should win a costume design award for the Eclipse Gum ad with the giant, whiny onion sitting home watching horror films when he’s obliterated by the germ-killing gum. (Yes, it did break last fall, but I still see it about four times a night.) Have you ever seen an onion costume so great? That must have taken forever to make. The rings, the little useless arms, the way the top of his onion head brushes the ceiling when he runs across the room. Eclipse did another ad with a guy dressed as a hot dog, and that costume is just as tremendous.
