The next time you pass a billboard, have a good look at it. It might be looking back at you. The reason? A small videocamera called the eyebox2, which scans your eyes and can tell if you’re looking at it. This creepy technology, discovered by Wired.com, has the potential to measure just how effective billboards are. Which is good and bad. Ads that no one looks at will come down. But lots of awful, tacky billboards that catch a lot of glances will stay up forever.
