Billboard unnerves forgetful Connecticuters


BMW of Bridgeport is offering overnight test drives, allowing average jerk citizens like us to take Beamers home and drive them around the block, demanding high fives from our neighbors. So, naturally, they promote this by putting a mannequin in pajamas atop a billboard on I-95. Panicked motorists have been calling 911, worried it's a real person waiting to jump. They've apparently forgotten that this BMW dealership has put that crazy bastard up on that same billboard not once but twice before (and who knows, maybe more), always prompting the same calls to police. I suppose you have to give them credit for turning that classic BMW customer trait—obnoxiousness—back on the target market.
