Beat your boss to that awesome AOL career
"Come work for AOL before your boss does." That's the company's pitch to prospective employees on this Silicon Valley billboard. One-upping your boss would be fun, but the bad part would be actually working for AOL. What would you do there all day long? Insert dial-up disks into mass mailers, perhaps. Get 700 free hours at 3 kbps—awesome! My boss isn't in yet. Maybe he got a job at AOL. Or else he's hung over (red faced, like the dot-head on the ad) from too much holiday reveling. Either way, I'm taking his Playboy mousepad and his crushed-velvet ergonomic chair. Happy New Year, chief! Via TechCrunch.
