Be wary of thumb harvesters, phone ad says
During last month's Super Bowl, Sony Ericsson brought us the macabre story of a back-alley surgeon who was willing to stitch on extra body parts, no questions asked. Now we get a peek into the backstory with "The Donor," a cinematic and grandly gross slice of future-shock that continues the bizarre campaign for the Xperia Play — aka the PlayStation phone. A beefy doofus goes clubbing, tags along home with some chick and wakes up sans thumbs. Don't you hate when that happens? He should put some iodine on those ASAP, but man it's gonna sting. And a dose of Dr. Uba's "holy spiritual water" couldn't hurt. The new spot is below, with the original ad after the jump. Via Engadget.
