Barbarian Group Encourages Random Smiling on the Internet Give a grin to a stranger, get one back
Designer Caelin Cacciatore was all smiles when she joined The Barbarian Group, thanks to an in-house effort called Project Popcorn that teams new hires with agency veterans for innovative projects. Her unbranded project, dubbed Two of Us, spreads good cheer on the Internet. You use a webcam to upload a photo of yourself smiling; in return, you get an image of a stranger smiling back at you. Aw, how sweet! The app has practically applications, too. Once Caelin starts working insane hours for her new employer, she can send her pic to friends and family to remind them what she looks like! Kidding, of course. C'mon, Ben Palmer, smile!
