'Assassin's Creed' spot hits your office park

Do you wander around corporate lobbies with your hoodie up, wishing you were badass enough to slaughter actual people instead of just pixels? If so, this new Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood live-action spot should appeal to you. After the success of its Assassin's Creed 2 ads, in which cold dead faces stared at you while church bells eerily clanged, Cutwater has upped the ante for the third installment of the game by spilling more blood and bringing the action to your office park. For the new game, Ubisoft added a brotherhood of assassins in your genetic past and a multiplayer mode. Realizing this lets your friends stab you in the back, Cutwater also created comical ads (posted after the jump) starring Rob Corddry of Daily Show fame as a therapist for two friends whose trust has been eroded by the game. Amusing pamphlets (see here and here) titled "Rebuilding Trust with Your Friends after playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer" were also slipped into gamer magazines. If all that still isn't enough, you can call an automated help line (1-877-OK-GET-TRUST) and learn how to rebuild trust—even if your friend stabbed you in the back and brutally emasculated you by rhythmically humping your character's dead body.
