Apply this ad poll directly to the forehead

Maybe we forgot that MSNBC.com runs an annual poll asking for the best and worst commercials of the year. Well, yesterday, the site’s TV critic, Gael Fashingbauer Cooper, wrote a piece on who’s currently winning both polls for 2006. (You can vote for best here and worst here.) To dispense with what viewers (so far) think is the best, it’s actually the whole talking-cows campaign for the California Milk Advisory Board, promoting Real California Cheese, from Deutsch/LA. But wouldn’t you rather know what the worst ad is? It’s the HeadOn commercial, naturally, although I have a confession to make: I’ve never actually seen it. I’ve only seen the parodies. With that in mind, rather than stream the actual commercial, I selected the video above, debuting the HeadOn ringtone.
