Angry wife No. 2 puts up billboard ads
Adland draws to our attention to another “angry wife” billboard (top), this one in the U.K. You’ll recall that the last one, from “Emily,” which ran in the U.S., turned out to be an ad for a CourtTV program. This one, from “Jane,” is surely for something similar. The copy is almost the same, right down to the line about paying for the ad with money from the joint bank account. The ad points to Jane’s Revenge, a MySpace page, where Jane writes: “If you are reading this, I guess you are wondering what this is all about. Is it a joke or is it some kind of cryptic advertisement or something? I’m sad to say it’s not. It’s none of the above. It’s just my way of getting my own back at the B*stard who I have devoted most of my adult life to, only to find out he is a piece of lying cheating scum!”
