I’d never begrudge a TV network’s right to use the big events it broadcasts as platforms to hype its programming, but at times, like during last night’s Grammys on CBS, the right to do so is mindlessly abused. It’s one thing to pummel the primetime schedule into the audience’s head during the commercial breaks; it’s entirely another to not at all subtly slip the network’s stars into the programming. What was Jenna Elfman doing on stage last night other than to remind everyone she’s got a new comedy on CBS? And as for Ghost
