“Mom Blames Great Store Sale for Leaving Child in Hot Car.” That’s the winning headline of the day from the Associated Press. This happened at an Albertsons in Fort Myers, Fla. It’s actually worse PR for the woman than for the grocery chain. They must offer some kind of deals! Besides, store employees were the ones who noticed the 11-month-old and plucked her (dehydrated but otherwise unharmed) from the vehicle. The woman said she wanted to return to the car more quickly but there were just “too many specials to pass up.”
