Ad-sales drama for reality star Jen Schefft
What does a former reality-TV star do when her 15 minutes are up? She goes into ad sales, naturally. Both occupations require great teeth and a willingness to risk humiliation. Heavy.com, the online video network for dudes, has hired former Bachelor and Bachelorette star Jen Schefft as a sales director in its Chicago office. Jen has legit experience, including a stint at Weber Shandwick, where she worked on brands such as Masterfoods and Oscar Mayer. She also has intangibles, such as a co-authored book, titled Better Single Than Sorry: A No-Regrets Guide to Loving Yourself and Never Settling, not to mention a couple of stints guest-hosting on The View. Sadly, her romance with Bachelor star Andrew Firestone flamed out. Then, on The Bachelorette, Jen gave the Heisman to Jerry Ferris in what Wikipedia bills as the show’s “first ever live final rose ceremony.”
