Samsung Releases First Ever YouTube Takeover Game

Samsung is making YouTube history with a new game takeover that brings their recent 3D projection mapping sensation to life, serving viewers up with an interactive experience like none YouTube has seen before. When Samsung's 3D Event game begins it looks like a regular YouTube page. However, within minutes the screen begins to break apart and the interactive experience begins. The YouTube page itself crumbles away, just like the building in the video, and users are prompted to click on as many butterflies as they can as they fly right out of the video and across the screen. The incentive? Players that click on enough videos have the chance to win a Samsung 3D LED television. Pretty cool, huh? Samsung introduced the progressive campaign in a press release last week: "It is the first time that a worldwide YouTube game-take-over is introduced on YouTube, whereby the video content is brought to life, allowing the user to interact with it. On the Samsung 3D branded channel, visitors can play a game where they must click on as many butterflies as possible, giving them a chance to win a Samsung 3D LED TV. "The campaign started with an outdoor event, with the projection being filmed by many viewers. Countless videos have been seen all over the world, forwarded from person to person, and placed on numerous blogs. Samsung has now added an extra dimension to this viral by making it interactive with the YouTube game-take-over." Samsung's campaign is a fantastic one, as it caters to audiences via a wide variety of mediums.
