Socwall Brings Web 2.0 to Desktop Wallpapers

Well what do you know? Even desktop wallpapers or backgrounds are joining the web 2.0/social network phenomenon. Socwall or social wallpapering aims to classify rank and distribute high-resolution images for use as desktop backgrounds.

Socwall came about due to the popularity of web 2.0 websites, and the influence of famous social bookmarking site, Digg to Socwall founder Kirk Ouimet. The idea was to display various high-resolution desktop wallpapers on the Socwall site so that practically anybody can rate the wallpapers.
